I was born in Sevenoaks, Kent in 1968, and educated at Wilderness School for Boys. In 1985, I left school and went into Painting & Decorating, over the years as part of my work I have completed many murals, together with special effects such as marbling & tortoise shell.
I picked up an art brush at the age of eighteen and taught myself to paint in oils. Along side my decorating, I advertised in The Field magazine for a number of years producing animal portraits on a commission basis for clients throughout the UK and in Europe.
Now at the age of 45, and following a number of knee operations, I’ve become semi professional and I’m looking to progress to make Art my full time profession. Whilst recovering from my operations, I have taken the opportunity to study portraiture and life drawing with Stephen Rose and expanded my portfolio of work, to also include still life compositions.
